Last weekend, Nathan and I were shopping when I came across the Easter section. The store had the cutest ‘bird nests’ for sale and they looked delicious, but they were seriously overpriced so I decided to try to make them myself and this morning I did!
This recipe only took me 15 minutes and uses 3 ingredients: chow mein noodles, chocolate, and candy.
To start, melt the chocolate and cover the chow mein noodles completely.  Scoop out the noodles and place them on parchment paper for the chocolate to harden.  While the chocolate is hardening, place candies (the bird eggs) on top.  Today I used M&Ms, but for Easter I will be using the mini hard-shelled Cadbury eggs. Enjoy!
